Position: PLC Programmer (1–3 years’ experience)

Role summary:
• PLC Engineer responsible for designing & modifying programming, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting industrial automation systems. The role primarily focuses on PLC-based control systems integrated with HMI, VFD, sensors, actuators, and industrial communication networks.
• PLC IIoT Integration along with pull data from DB (post grace/SQL) connected machines or shop-floor PLCs into DB/analytics.
Key responsibilities:
• Write, modify, and debug PLC logic using Ladder Logic, Function Block, or Structured Text for small to medium machines.
• Program and integrate PLCs from platforms such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Schneider, or Delta
• Configure industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, OPC UA, MQTT, and RS485.
• Design and configure basic HMI screens, tag mapping, and operator interfaces.
• Good with on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of PLC and HMI systems.
• Develop Modbus tag mapping, data logging, and reporting solutions for machine and process monitoring.
• Troubleshoot PLC communication, network, and data transfer issues & control faults, diagnose I/O issues, and perform system diagnostics with minimal supervision.
• Integrate PLCs with HMI, Servers, and other automation systems using common protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
• Create and maintain documentation: I/O lists, wiring diagrams, control narratives, test procedures, and change logs.
• Provide technical support to maintenance and operations teams and escalate complex issues appropriately.
• Follow safety standards, contribute to risk assessments, and apply basic fail-safe logic.
Required qualifications:
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation/PLC programming (projects, internships, or employment).
• Practical experience with at least one major PLC platform (e.g., Siemens / Allen Bradley/Mitsubishi/ Schneider/ Delta).
• Strong understanding of ladder logic and ability to read electrical schematics and I/O drawings.
• Basic knowledge of HMIs, SCADA, sensors, and electro-mechanical systems.
Desired skills (nice to have)
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols: Modbus RTU/TCP, Ethernet/IP
• Vendor-specific training/certifications (Siemens, Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi) are advantageous.
• Good problem-solving, logical reasoning, and ability to work under time pressure on-site.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work flexible shifts when required.
Working conditions
• Mix of off-site programming and on-site commissioning/troubleshooting in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• May require shift work, site visits, and adherence to site-specific safety and PPE requirements.
This is a junior level or below midlevel position hence, we will not consider freshers for this position.
