Position: PLC Programmer (1\u20133 years\u2019 experience)

Role summary:
\n\u2022\tPLC Engineer responsible for designing & modifying programming, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting industrial automation systems. The role primarily focuses on PLC-based control systems integrated with HMI, VFD, sensors, actuators, and industrial communication networks.
\n\u2022\tPLC IIoT Integration along with pull data from DB (post grace\/SQL) connected machines or shop-floor PLCs into DB\/analytics.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities:
\n\u2022\tWrite, modify, and debug PLC logic using Ladder Logic, Function Block, or Structured Text for small to medium machines.
\n\u2022\tProgram and integrate PLCs from platforms such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Schneider, or Delta
\n\u2022\tConfigure industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP\/IP, Ethernet\/IP, Profinet, OPC UA, MQTT, and RS485.
\n\u2022\tDesign and configure basic HMI screens, tag mapping, and operator interfaces.
\n\u2022\tGood with on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of PLC and HMI systems.
\n\u2022\tDevelop Modbus tag mapping, data logging, and reporting solutions for machine and process monitoring.
\n\u2022\tTroubleshoot PLC communication, network, and data transfer issues & control faults, diagnose I\/O issues, and perform system diagnostics with minimal supervision.
\n\u2022\tIntegrate PLCs with HMI, Servers, and other automation systems using common protocols (Modbus, Ethernet\/IP, Profibus).
\n\u2022\tCreate and maintain documentation: I\/O lists, wiring diagrams, control narratives, test procedures, and change logs.
\n\u2022\tProvide technical support to maintenance and operations teams and escalate complex issues appropriately.
\n\u2022\tFollow safety standards, contribute to risk assessments, and apply basic fail-safe logic.<\/p>\n
Required qualifications:
\n\u2022\tDiploma or bachelor\u2019s degree in electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
\n\u2022\t1\u20132 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation\/PLC programming (projects, internships, or employment).
\n\u2022\tPractical experience with at least one major PLC platform (e.g., Siemens \/ Allen Bradley\/Mitsubishi\/ Schneider\/ Delta).
\n\u2022\tStrong understanding of ladder logic and ability to read electrical schematics and I\/O drawings.
\n\u2022\tBasic knowledge of HMIs, SCADA, sensors, and electro-mechanical systems.
\nDesired skills (nice to have)
\n\u2022\tFamiliarity with industrial communication protocols: Modbus RTU\/TCP, Ethernet\/IP
\n\u2022\tVendor-specific training\/certifications (Siemens, Rockwell\/Allen Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi) are advantageous.
\n\u2022\tGood problem-solving, logical reasoning, and ability to work under time pressure on-site.
\n\u2022\tWillingness to travel to client sites and work flexible shifts when required.
\nWorking conditions
\n\u2022\tMix of off-site programming and on-site commissioning\/troubleshooting in manufacturing or industrial environments.
\n\u2022\tMay require shift work, site visits, and adherence to site-specific safety and PPE requirements.<\/p>\n
